Transition
Definition
A change from one state or observation to another, often represented as current context, action, next state, and outcome.
Why it matters
Transitions are the local learning units from which a model estimates dynamics. Misaligned actions can invert the apparent causal order.
Example
At time t the agent presses jump; at time t+1 the vertical position and animation state change.
